Once your financial aid award is complete, a book account will be authorized and a notification will be sent to your student email address. Amount. The amount is based on your financial aid award, not to exceed $1, Your book account is based on your current schedule. The Financial Aid Book Charge program allows you (if eligible) to use up to $ of your financial aid award to pay for books and/or supplies during designated times each semester. This is an optional program so if you decide not to use the Book Charge, your financial aid will disburse as normal. Note: The Book Charge can be used in addition to the Textbook Rental Program. Book Loans. The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships book loan process allows for the purchase of your books at the UMBC Bookstore or on the Bookstore’s website. Book loans will be available no later than two weeks prior to the start of classes. Students enrolled at Shady Grove may also apply for book loans. A pending credit is when your total financial aid (including loans, but not work-study funding) exceeds your total Providence College charges for the semester. Although your actual credit may be higher, the maximum allowed is half the annual budgeted book costs as determined by the Office of Financial Aid. The book advance is a pre-disbursement program that allows you to use a portion of your anticipated financial aid to purchase textbooks and supplies from any business. Each semester book advances are generated to eligible students to purchase text books and supplies for upcoming classes. The book advance funds are issued through the Maricopa Student Refund . Visit the Financial Aid windows in the DeRicco Student Services building; Drop a request in the Financial Aid drop box; Check your Delta College Email account for a response within 2 business days. If approved, print e-mail of approval. Pick up your Book Advance Voucher at the Financial Aid window in the DeRicco lobby.
Using Your Financial Aid Funds at the Bookstore: Book Vouchers and Title IV Authorization If you are awarded, and accept financial aid that is in an amount greater than your tuition charges, then you may be eligible for a voucher to charge your textbooks and course related supplies at the university bookstore to your excess financial aid prior. Financial Aid recipients may charge books and supplies using a bookstore line of credit (BLOC) at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore (B&N) at Santa Fe College. Not all students have a BLOC on the first days of book charging. Because each student’s financial aid situation is different and specific to them, you will receive an eSantaFe notification. Purchasing Books through Follett Bookstore Eligible Financial Aid Recipients. Eligible financial aid recipients may purchase their books directly from the Follett Bookstore at either the Flagship Campus or Community College. In general, book authorizations are available the week before class until the last day to drop and ial aid recipients that have a credit balance after . -Financial Aid Book Award-Child of Alumni Book Award-Freshman Book Award -Leatherneck Book Award. Any other Financial Aid, Scholarship, Grants or loans not listed here, that have been applied to your student account cannot be utilized via the WIU Bookstore website.
